Lake Shore is home for a year-round children's center that serves about 55 children and more than 50 non-member families. Operating with a separate budget and its own staff of 18, the center serves families with children 6 weeks old thru 5 years, full-time. There is also an summer program for children through age 10.  Our mission budget includes scholarships for this Center.

We had a 100% rating!!! It is so very, very difficult to receive such a perfect rating and to receive the rating for two years in a row is just remarkable. We are truly blessed to have Jennifer leading the Center and to have loyal, hard working and caring employees. Congratulations are in order for everyone at the Center! Summer Fun!

We enjoy many fun activities in the summer. Our school-agers love going to the Mountainview Spray Park each week. We have many visitors during the summer too! One year Officer Martinez came to see us from the Waco Police Department and showed us her cool police car! The Cameron Park Zoo Mobile brought fun animals for us to see…we even got to pet a hedgehog, snake, hissing cockroach, and an alligator!
